18th Century Sèvres sauce boat. Soft paste porcelain sauce boat hand-painted in the feuille de choux pattern. Hairline crack to the inside of the sauce boat which does not come through under the plate. Interlaced L mark of Sèvres to the base with double letter “a” denoting 1778.

The beautiful 18th Century Sevres sauce boat has a beautiful Feuille de choux pattern on the body of its soft-paste porcelain and on its matching saucer. The sauce boat has a date mark for 1778 on its base. The rare and fabulous piece of antique china would display well on a dining room table on a special occasion and look good in a display cabinet to show off its beauty. To care for the 18th Century Sevres sauce boat use a soft cloth and dust it or wash it carefully after use.
