3 Vintage Mechanical Musical Monkeys

A set of 3 vintage mechanical musical monkeys. A trio of wind-up musical monkeys each with a percussion instrument; pair of maracas, cymbals or a tin drum. Made by DRGM of West Germany c1956. 2 of the monkeys have original sticker to the ear and the drum has Made in West Germany around the side. All 3 still have movement when wound although somewhat erratic and a little temperamental. These monkeys have had considerable use with signs of wear to the faux fur and felt and need some TLC.

The 3 vintage mechanical musical monkeys feature a trio of amusing and colourful monkeys, each playing a collection of musical instruments.
The collectible set originated from West Germany in 1956. They are in fair condition for their age and an interesting find for the vintage toy collector.
To care for the 3 vintage mechanical musical monkeys, we recommend using a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust.
