These lines finish with intricate hand painted scroll work design also in gilt at the top below the lip which is alternately decorated in sea green and minimal aubergine. The top rim is also in gilt which extends to just over the top creating a floral image when looking down from above. Just below the lip of the planter, we have sea green border as well as along the bottom. The crackle glaze extends throughout the entire planter making a striking piece which doesn't require a plant for enhancement! Small posy of pale blue/green roses to the left of planter.

Dahl Jensen planter in crackle glaze. A stunning Art Deco crackle glaze porcelain planter with hand painted accents in green and gold with splashes of aubergine by Danish designer Dahl Jensen c1930-1939. In very good condition with just a tiny flea bite on the base rim. Full markings on the base. Measures 80mm in diameter at base, 145mm across the top and 132mm tall.
