The Victorian ‘Hanau’ snuff box has an assay date mark of London 1896. The highly decorative box rests on four legs and has a deep cavity for holding snuff. The silver box is very collectable and would look well on a dressing room table and could function as a small jewellery box. To clean the Victorian ‘Hanau’ snuff box use a soft cloth and polish it when required.
