A very special vintage 9 karat gold locket set with a marquise cut deep pink ruby to the centre with 8 small diamonds within the diamond shaped frame. Lovely scrollwork to the gold outside of the diamond shaped central design. The locket is hallmarked to the bail for Birmingham assayed continental import and has a drop length of 40mm from top of outer bail to base of locket. The locket itself measures 30mm long by 22mm wide. The chain has less age and is hallmarked for Italian made 9 karat gold and measures 485mm long. Locket and chain weigh 9.6gms. Box included.
