Antique Chester silver basket with glass lining. Beautiful small basket with sterling silver floral garlands to the side and a twist handle. The sterling silver basket is lined with Bristol blue glass. Fully hallmarked to the rim for Chester assay c1908 with short hallmark to one handle end. Made by Haseler Brothers. Measures 58mm in diameter at base and 70mm at top. Height is 135mm with handle fully extended and 90mm to top of basket.

The antique glass-lined Chester silver basket with a hallmark for Chester 1908 is the work of the Haseler brothers and features a highly decorative silver basket with floral swags.
Inside the basket is a Bristol blue liner that complements the elegant look. The basket would display beautifully on a dining table for special occasions
holding bonbons or other sweet treats.
To maintain the condition of the antique glass-lined Chester silver basket, we suggest polishing the silver with a soft cloth, washing the liner in soapy water, and drying thoroughly.
