The antique silver mounted horse hoof paperweight is the work of Daniel & John Welby and has a hallmark for London 1895. The paperweight has a silver top and bottom holding the horse hoof in place. On the top of the paperweight, there is an engraving of the name ‘Fairy’ suggesting this would have been the name of the horse.
