Edwardian sterling silver bachelor tea service. Wonderful tea service set comprising of a small tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug. Each piece has a fluted edge with the tea pot and sugar bowl on 4 feet and jug on 3 feet. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay and dated 1909 to each piece. Made by Joseph Gloster Ltd. Some minor signs of wear.
The tea pot has a Bakelite finial and handle and measures approximately 220mm from tip of spout to edge of handle, 135mm wide across the top, 135mm tall to tip of finial and 70mm square at the 4 feet.
Sugar bowl measures 155mm edge to edge at handles, 110mm across the top, 80mm tall from feet to highest point at handle tips, 65mm tall from feet to edge of bowl and 60mm square at the 4 feet.
Jug measures 118mm from tip of spout to handle edge, 88mm across the top, 80mm tall from feet to top of handle. 75mm from feet to tip of spout, 60mm from feet to jug edge and 60mm across the 3 feet.
