Made of high grade silver and decorated with Bat (for good fortune & happiness), coins (for wealth & prosperity) and jadeite gourds (to ward off evil spirits) with immortal to the top. Full length 190mm Mid section with Bat measures 42mm wide by 30mm long
  • Pair of Edwardian bonbon dishes. 2 identical bonbon dishes with different assay offices and makers. Sheffield assay c1901 by Henry Aitken and London assay c1902 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. Some minor signs of wear and a few minor dings consistent with the antique status of the dishes. Each dish measures approximately 97mm by 52mm at the base 62mm by 70mm at the top. Height at middle 30mm and at raised ends 43mm.

  • Vintage American silver lidded glass pot. Unusual shaped pot with square base and circular top with green tint to the base. Monogrammed with the letter E to the top of the lid. Base measures 65mm square and top opening measures 62mm in diameter.
  • Antique silver plate and cut crystal glass 4 bottle complete cruet set. Stamped John Henry Potter Sheffield A1 silver plate c1884
  • Antique 930 silver oval pill box. Lovely pill box with relief work decoration of a child with a dog in a rural setting. Full hallmark to the base with import mark c1900 Mueller and smaller hallmark to the inside rim of lid.
  • Antique Art Deco sterling silver tea set trio. A handsome sterling silver trio consisting of tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug all in a very aesthetic Art Deco shape. Each piece is stamped to the base for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company 112 Regent Street and also fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay. The tea pot is dated for 1918, weighs 723.4gms and measures 102mm in diameter at base, 160mm in diameter at widest at top of body, 175mm wide from tip of spout to handle and 145mm tall at finial. There is also a etched picture of a thistle with motto 'Dulcius ex Asperis' (Sweeter after difficulties). The sugar bowl is dated for 1917, weighs 266gms and measures 70mm in diameter at base, 125mm in diameter at widest at top, 160mm at widest across handles, 60mm tall at main body and 65mm tall at handles. The jug is also dated for 1917, weighs 183gms and measures 64mm in diameter at base, 105mm in diameter at top, 145mm at widest from tip of spout to handle, 52mm tall at body and 65mm at tallest by handle.
  • Antique sterling silver pin tray. Highly decorated oval tray with scalloped edging and patterned to inside in a very typical Art Nouveau design. Fully hallmarked to tray edge for Birmingham assay c1901 and made by Henry Matthews.
  • Antique small glass bottle from Boots Pure Drug Company. Small octagonal bottle with sterling silver top which has full hallmark for Birmingham assay c1915. Some contents included - believed to be smelling salts. The top has a few dints which has not affected the visibility of the hallmark. Lovely historic piece from a company still with us today!
  • Antique cased set of silver salts and spoons. A lovely pair of sterling silver salts and spoons each fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay and made by Lee and Wigfull (Henry Wigfull) c1907. Missing glass bowls to each. Each salt measures 53mm equilaterally, 40mm tall and weighs 36.2gms. Each spoon measures 65mm long and weigh 7.3gms. Case interior in lovely condition, exterior has signs of wear.
  • c1843 Fiddle thread shell tongs by George Adams. Fully hallmarked.
  • Antique French pierced silver ladle. Quality gilt silver ladle with very fine pierce work to ladle bowl and face of an aristocrat to handle tip. Worn hallmark to ladle handle at front above the bowl and 3 hallmarks to the back. Attributed for Paris assay c1819-1835. Bowl measures approximately 65mm in diameter.
  • An engraved silver plate on copper French jewellery box . It dates from about 1900-1940.The lid is engraved with ‘The morning of the bridal party ( Le matin de la noce)’. There is considerable wear to the plate on the lid that allows the underlying copper to shine through also minor wear to the base. The box has its a original padded satin interior with a little wear to the silk. The box weighs 298grams.
  • Antique sterling silver paper clip with imported London assay hallmark. c1901 Spring coil in good order. Measures 80mm long, 47mm at widest and 22mm at tallest.
  • Antique Indian Kutch lidded pot with vacant cartouche (Small dent under cartouche) Not hallmarked but tests for silver Measures 45mm in diameter
  • Pair of antique sterling silver lemon forks. Made exactly 100 years ago in 1924, these fine quality forks were assayed in Sheffield and made by Charles William Fletcher & Son Ltd. They come in their own fitted leather case with retail sellers details on the inside of lid. There is some wear to the velvet & silk interior but otherwise in good condition. Forks measure 105mm long.
  • Pair of antique sterling silver toast racks. Small but sweet pair of toast racks. c1899 Birmingham assay and made by William Hutton. Each toast rack measures 72mm long, 47mm wide and 85mm tall at central point.
  • Antique silver and mother-of-pearl jam spade. Fabulous quality sterling silver jam spade with scallop design detail and a scallop carved mother-of-pearl handle. Full hallmark to back of neck for Sheffield assay c1895 and made by Arthur Priestley & Co. Spoon bowl measures 52mm long by 30mm at widest point.
  • Antique silver and mother-of-pearl pickle fork. Fine sterling silver pickle fork in excellent condition with a mother-of-pearl handle. Full hallmark to the back of fork for Sheffield assay c1899 and made by James Dixons & Sons.
  • c1905 London assayed sterling silver covered box by W.M.Comyns. Fully hallmarked to the side of the box. (A few small dents around the box)
  • Antique sterling silver desk top thermometer paperweight. c1909 mercury filled desktop Fahrenheit thermometer with brass face within a sterling silver frame. Some dinks to the silver frame especially around the top. Hallmark to outer rim of frame for Birmingham assay and made by Henry Clifford Davis. Measures 82mm in diameter at base, 67mm at top and thermometer face measures 55mm.
  • Antique sterling silver footed bowl. Fully hallmarked for London assay c1899 and made by Charles Stuart Harris. Measures 70mm in diameter at base and 115mm across the top.
  • Antique sterling silver pepperette in the form of a milk churn. Chester assayed and made by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings c1911. Full hallmark to side of churn and short hallmark to inside rim of gilt silver top. Measures 24mm in diameter at base, 26mm across the churn handles and 18mm at the top.
  • Antique silver mounted horse hoof paperweight. A very unusual paperweight that must have been a special commission by someone in memory of their beloved horse. The top of the hoof is covered in sterling silver with the name "Fairy" engraved on it while the bottom is covered by a sterling silver horseshoe. Full hallmark to both top and bottom silver covers for London assay c1895 and made by Daniel & John Wellby. Measures approximately 105mm at longest, 60mm at widest and 56mm at tallest.

  • Antique 2 handled sterling silver pot. Small 2 handled sterling silver pot with intricate relief pattern around the lower bulbous area. One cartouche has a profile of a medieval knight engraved to it while other cartouche is empty - for a damsel perhaps? Shapely handles and rim add to the elegance of this piece. Full hallmark to the base for London assay c1875. Made by Francis Higgins. Base measures 55mm in diameter, width across handles measures approximately 105mm and opening at top 60mm in diameter.
  • Antique apostle set in sterling silver. A complete set of 6 apostle teaspoons with tongs & sifter/strainer. Each item has scalloped bowls with twist handles. Full hallmark to each piece for Birmingham assay c1901. The case lid has one side edge missing and is missing the hinges so not attached to the base. Spoons measure 102mm long, tongs measure 90mm long and the sifter measures 103mm long.

  • Antique sterling silver cheroot case. c1912 Birmingham assayed cheroot case made by Henry Perkins & Sons. Engraved "From Peter Oct.15th 1913" Measures 15mm in diameter at the opening.
  • Antique sterling silver cigarette case by Joseph Gloster. c1901 Birmingham assay. Intricate silverwork decoration to both sides of outer case with empty cartouche for personalisation. Interior is gilt silver with elastic to one side only. Full & short hallmark to interior and lion passant stamp to thumb grip on exterior. Closes tight with no gaps.
  • Antique sterling silver cream jug. Small & sweet cream jug in sterling silver on tripod feet with raised floral decoration to the sides and an empty cartouche to the jug breast for personalisation. Fully hallmarked to the side for Birmingham assay c1898.
  • Antique creamer in sterling silver. Small creamer in a very classical Art Nouveau design. Full hallmark to the side for Birmingham assay and made by A & J Zimmerman Ltd c1902.
  • Antique sterling silver spoon with a twist handle and cupid to the handle tip. Full hallmark to back of cupid for c1882 London assay. The shallow spoon bowl measures 37mm by 30mm.
  • Antique flask in sterling silver. A substantial sterling silver flask covered in debossed foliage of various wild plants. There is a blank area to both sides of flask  for thumb and finger hold which can also be personalised. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay c1891.
  • Antique sterling silver lidded pot on 4 feet. c1903 Chester assayed footed pot with image of angels playing instruments in what could be the garden of Eden. Gilt interior. Each of the 4 feet are adorned with the image of a winged female figure who could be the Egyptian Goddess Isis or a Valkyrie. This is one of those magical pieces that reveal more with each look. What a treasure! Measures 98mm in diameter at top, 75mm square at feet and the winged figures stand 56mm high.
  • Antique goblet in sterling silver. Small sterling silver goblet fully hallmarked for Chester assay and made by J Zeving c1914. Slightly uneven at base. Appears to be 3 cartouches with only one undecorated. Measures 43mm in diameter at base and 54mm across the top. Weight 57gms.
  • Antique sterling silver milk or cream jug. Aesthetically stunning jug by Thomas Bradbury of London c1904. Full hallmark to back of jug by handle. Base measures 63mm by 44mm, 110mm at widest from tip of spout to handle edge and 136mm at tallest at handle.
  • Antique sterling silver moustache brush. Small sterling silver moustache brush with bristles in very good condition. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay c1914 and made by Synyer & Beddoes of Vyse Street. A very fine piece of male grooming kit! Bristle area measures 32mm.
  • Antique sterling silver table light. Beautifully crafted small sterling silver oil light in the form of Aladdin's lamp. Fully hallmarked to the base for Sheffield assay c1913 and made by Roberts & Belk. (Extra hallmark stamp on this piece-very special!) Measures 52mm by 37mm at base, 112mm at longest from handle to tip of spout, 55mm at widest, 68mm tall at finial and 70mm at tallest.

Lovely twist detail to the middle of handle finished with a decorative handle end. Fully hallmarked to back of one of the fork tines for Birmingham assay c1897 and made by William Devenport. Fine quality piece.
  • Antique sterling silver heart dish. Fine quality pierced sterling silver raised dish in the form of a love heart. Fully hallmarked for London assay c1891 and made by W. M. Comyns. Measures 160mm at longest, 146mm at widest and 25mm at tallest.
  • Victorian sterling silver spirit cup in the form of a thimble with raised wording at top of cup reading "Just A Thimbleful". Shield shaped empty cartouche for personalisation. c1876 Birmingham assayed by Samuel Clark. Lovely piece of historic Victorian humour? Has been well loved & used with a few dinks. Gilt interior in good condition. Measures 18mm in diameter at base and 42mm across the top.
  • Art Deco sterling silver bowl. Fabulous octagonal 2 handled footed bowl by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths c1930 Sheffield assay. Very typical of Art Deco era with aesthetically pleasing design and functional practicality. Nice scalloped pattern to 6 sides. Fully hallmarked to the base. Foot base measures 114mm in diameter. Weighs 586 grams.
  • Art Deco silver and enamel hand mirror. A stunning hand mirror from the Art Deco era in sterling silver and beautiful blue enamel. Hallmarked to the mirror frame for London import by AJ and dated to c1935. The enamel is in excellent condition except for a small scratch to the back of mirror however the silver backed mirror has some signs of wear. Still very useable! Mirror area measures approximately 105mm in diameter.
  • Art Deco era sterling silver matchbook case. Nearly obsolete item today that's hardly ever seen let alone used. A few signs of wear to exterior. Closes tight. Hallmarked to both sides inside for c1933 Birmingham assay and made by Sanders & McKenzie. Vintage matchbook included.
  • Art Deco sterling silver tazza. Very sweet tazza with pierced work to the top of the bowl. Made by Adey Bros Ltd of Birmingham and dates to 1927. Full hallmark to the outside of bowl. Measures 55mm in diameter at base and 95mm at opening at top.
  • A single sterling silver toast rack in a typical aesthetic Art Deco design. Full hallmark to one side for the silver jubilee of King George V c1935. Length from handle to handle at top is 95mm.
