  • Early 20th century lidded cloisonne jar. Good sized jar in unusually muted colours for cloisonne which adds to the attractiveness of the jar. Decorated with flora and fauna to the side. Enamel in excellent condition. Finial is a little loose on the lid & needs attention. Measures 88mm in diameter at base, approximately 120mm in diameter at widest part and 165mm tall with lid.
  • Vintage sterling silver vesta case. Unusual circular vesta with an empty cartouche for personalisation . Hallmarked 925 for sterling silver on the inside rim. c1970s. Measures approximately 50mm in diameter.

  • c1807 George III silver vinaigrette. An oblong sterling silver vinaigrette with a curved bottom and a gilt silver interior and grille. Fully hallmarked to the inside of lid for Birmingham assay by silversmith Cocks & Bettridge. A couple of minor dings but closes tight.
  • Vintage Dutch silver novelty gondolier. Solid silver decorative piece with full Dutch hallmark to the base.
  • c1872 Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette. A sweet rectangular vinaigrette decorated on both sides with a vacant cartouche for personalisation. A flower decorates the inner grille. Fully hallmarked to the inside lid as well as lower section. Assayed in Birmingham by Frederick Marson. In excellent condition.
  • Small circular sterling silver compact. Vintage Art Deco chateleine compact with mirror and puff. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay (date stamp not readable). Measures 45mm in diameter.
  • Edwardian sterling silver bachelor tea service. Wonderful tea service set comprising of a small tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug. Each piece has a fluted edge with the tea pot and sugar bowl on 4 feet and jug on 3 feet. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay and dated 1909 to each piece. Made by Joseph Gloster Ltd. Some minor signs of wear. The tea pot has a Bakelite finial and handle and measures approximately 220mm from tip of spout to edge of handle, 135mm wide across the top, 135mm tall to tip of finial and 70mm square at the 4 feet. Sugar bowl measures 155mm edge to edge at handles, 110mm across the top, 80mm tall from feet to highest point at handle tips, 65mm tall from feet to edge of bowl and 60mm square at the 4 feet. Jug measures 118mm from tip of spout to handle edge, 88mm across the top, 80mm tall from feet to top of handle. 75mm from feet to tip of spout, 60mm from feet to jug edge and 60mm across the 3 feet.
  • Sterling silver business card case. c1989 Birmingham assayed sterling silver business card case with a floral design to the centre made from butterfly wings. Full hallmark to the front of case and short hallmark on the inside. Picture area measures approximately 35mm in diameter. Some minor signs of wear.
  • Early George VI silver enamel compact. Sterling silver naval sweetheart ladies compact with guilloche enamel to the lid. Fully hallmarked on the inside for Birmingham assay c1939 and made by John William Barrett. A few minor dinks to the bottom and shallow scratches to the lid, the mirror is in near perfect condition and closes tight. Measures approximately 65mm in diameter.
  • Modernist brandy decanter label. Solid sterling silver decanter label with London assay mark to the front. Made by BRC and dates for c1980s. Label measures 63mm by 15mm. Chain length 190mm (Half length 95mm)
  • c1932 Small pepper grinder. Petite pepper grinder with oak body and silver top and base rim. The best in pepper grinders with a Peugeot movement. Hallmarked to the base for Birmingham assay and made by John Grinsell & Sons. Lion passant to the top. Measures 45mm in diameter at base and 42mm in diameter at top.
  • c1875 Small sterling silver jug. Very sweet and finely decorated small jug by Barnard & Sons Ltd. Full hallmark to the base for London assay. Stunning piece with empty cartouche to either side for personalisation. Measures 40mm in diameter at the base, 85mm from tip of spout to edge of handle and 45mm across the top.

  • Cased set of 4 silver bridge pencils. Lovely vintage set of 4 pencils with different coloured ends in black, green, blue & red. Each pencil marked sterling silver and measures 95mm long and weighs 6.5gms
  • c1978 Sterling silver and Blue John spoon. Single sterling silver teaspoon with an oval Blue John stone to the handle tip. Nice column design to the handle stem.
  • Antique sterling silver lidded pot on 4 feet. c1903 Chester assayed footed pot with image of angels playing instruments in what could be the garden of Eden. Gilt interior. Each of the 4 feet are adorned with the image of a winged female figure who could be the Egyptian Goddess Isis or a Valkyrie. This is one of those magical pieces that reveal more with each look. What a treasure! Measures 98mm in diameter at top, 75mm square at feet and the winged figures stand 56mm high.
  • Art Deco sterling silver tazza. Very sweet tazza with pierced work to the top of the bowl. Made by Adey Bros Ltd of Birmingham and dates to 1927. Full hallmark to the outside of bowl. Measures 55mm in diameter at base and 95mm at opening at top.
  • Edinburgh assayed sterling silver bowl. Lovely bulbous bowl with nice raised decorative work to the outside and a gilt silver interior. Fully hallmarked to the base and made by Hamilton & Inches c1881. Measures 80mm in diameter at base, 100mm across the top and approximately 120mm at bulbous central part.
  • Antique 930 silver oval pill box. Lovely pill box with relief work decoration of a child with a dog in a rural setting. Full hallmark to the base with import mark c1900 Mueller and smaller hallmark to the inside rim of lid.
  • Antique sterling silver moustache brush. Small sterling silver moustache brush with bristles in very good condition. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay c1914 and made by Synyer & Beddoes of Vyse Street. A very fine piece of male grooming kit! Bristle area measures 32mm.
  • Vintage 1970s Heart paperweight. Highly collectable heavy silver plate heart shaped paperweight made by Dansk, Japan. Some minor scratches and stains consistent with age. Measures 63mm at widest, 60mm at tallest.
  • Vintage Scandinavian silver dish. Small round silver dish with a two-headed eagle to the centre. Hallmarked 830 Silver to the base. Measures 55mm at base and 82mm across the top.
  • Continental silver topped sugar sifter. Lovely Art Deco sugar sifter with heavy crystal glass bottom and 835 silver top. Full hallmark to the side of the silver top believed to be of German origin. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
  • Pair of Edwardian bonbon dishes. 2 identical bonbon dishes with different assay offices and makers. Sheffield assay c1901 by Henry Aitken and London assay c1902 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. Some minor signs of wear and a few minor dings consistent with the antique status of the dishes. Each dish measures approximately 97mm by 52mm at the base 62mm by 70mm at the top. Height at middle 30mm and at raised ends 43mm.
  • Pair of sterling silver sauce boats. Lovely pair of solid sterling silver sauce boats with claw feet and beading detail. Edinburgh assay and made by Hamilton & Inches c1936. Both in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. Each measures approximately 175mm long at longest (tip of spout to handle), 84mm at widest and 82mm tall at tallest (at handle top)
  • c1920 American Art Deco candlesticks. Stunning pair of shapely Art Deco silver plated candlesticks. Made by Simpson H.M & Co. One candlestick has an uneven base and a slight wobble. Each stick measures approximately 97mm by 75mm at base, 160mm tall at the highest point, 57mm by 48mm across the top and candle slot measures 22mm in diameter.
  • c1804 Sterling silver caddy spoon. Antique King George III sterling silver caddy spoon assayed in London by Peter, Ann & William Bateman. Full hallmark to the back of the handle. Caddy bowl measures approximately 46mm by 38mm and 12mm in depth.
  • Modern oval silver photo frame. c2004 Birmingham assayed sterling silver photo frame made by WI Broadway & Co. Nice pattern work around the frame with birds. Photo area opening measures 138mm tall by 88mm at widest.
  • c1940 Sterling silver sugar basin. Petite sterling silver sugar basin with a plain body and classical handles with leaf design to the tops of each. Full hallmark for Chester assay to just below the rim. Measures 120mm from edge of handle to handle, 58mm across the top, base measures 46mm by 38mm, 63mm high from base to lip of basin and 85mm high from top of handle to base.

  • Small sterling silver cigarette case. c1929 Birmingham assayed sterling silver Art Deco cigarette case/business card holder. Lovely engine turned design to both sides with an empty cartouche to the lid for personalisation. Worn gilt interior with elastic intact. Hallmark to both inside covers and a lion passant on the opening lip.
  • Art Nouveau Continental snuff box. Pretty silver plated snuff box with gilt interior. Decorated with an image of a pilgrim at the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes to the lid and very typical Art Nouveau floral decoration on the base. In very good condition throughout with only a few dinks at the corners.
  • Pair of antique sterling silver toast racks. Small but sweet pair of toast racks. c1899 Birmingham assay and made by William Hutton. Each toast rack measures 72mm long, 47mm wide and 85mm tall at central point.
  • Set of 6 Art Deco cocktail sticks. Fine quality set of sterling silver cocktail sticks with a colourful enamel cockerel to the top. Each cockerel has a very slight variation of colouring so not all uniform. Hallmarked sterling silver on the stick below the cockerel. No original case. Each stick measures approximately 80mm at longest and weighs approximately 2.9gms
  • Set of 6 mid century coffee spoons. Lovely set of 6 gilt sterling silver and enamel coffee spoons by Egon Lauridsen of Denmark in original case. Each spoon with a different colour enamel to the handle. Hallmarked Ela Denmark Sterling 925S to the back. Each spoon measure approximately 93mm long and weighs 7.6gms.
  • Antique silver and mother-of-pearl jam spade. Fabulous quality sterling silver jam spade with scallop design detail and a scallop carved mother-of-pearl handle. Full hallmark to back of neck for Sheffield assay c1895 and made by Arthur Priestley & Co. Spoon bowl measures 52mm long by 30mm at widest point.
  • Vintage Gents cased travel cologne set. Lovely set of 3 identical sterling silver topped glass cologne bottles each with gilt interior and glass stopper. All three bottles are in excellent condition and hallmarked to outside of silver top as well as gilt neck inside. Each bottle weighs approximately 175gms and measures 52mm by 40mm wide and 105mm tall at lid area. The tan leather covered case has 3 compartments to house each bottle securely. There are signs of wear and staining consistent with age and some interesting & somewhat confusing markings on the clasp. Retailed by Drew & Sons of Piccadilly Circus and hallmarked for London assay c1937 by Charles Henry Dumenil.
  • Early George V silver toast rack. Small sterling silver toast rack with partitions set at a very practical diagonal angle. Full hallmark to the top of lower frame for Birmingham assay c1919 and made by George Unite.
  • Antique sterling silver pickle fork. Very dainty and delicate looking sterling silver pickle fork in Queens Pattern. Lovely twist detail to the middle of handle finished with a decorative handle end. Fully hallmarked to back of one of the fork tines for Birmingham assay c1897 and made by William Devenport. Fine quality piece.
  • 1950s Steinböck Studio lidded pot. Beautiful enamel pot in a creamy off white, hand-painted with a floral design in vibrant greens and blues & all accentuated with 24 karat gold leaf. In excellent condition throughout with no damage to the enamel just wear of the gold leaf around the pot opening as would be expected. Steinböck mark to the base. Measures approximately 64mm in diameter.
  • Asprey's Japanese woman and screen. Vintage Asprey's solid sterling silver figure of a Japanese Geisha woman performing a dance in front of a 4 fold sterling silver screen. Hallmarked to the base of the figure and to back of each screen fold for Asprey's of London c1991. A fan is missing from figures right hand. A stunning piece of quality collectable sterling silver. Figure measures approximately 85mm tall, 45mm at widest and 40mm at deepest and weighs 253gms. Screen measures 130mm fully extended by 90mm tall and weighs 113gms.
  • Vintage dragonfly on lotus root stand. A lovely small bronze pen or brush stand in the form of a dragonfly alighted on a length of lotus root. Fine quality piece. Stamp signature to the base. Measures approximately 90mm at longest, 20mm at widest and 36mm at tallest.
  • Antique silver and mother-of-pearl pickle fork. Fine sterling silver pickle fork in excellent condition with a mother-of-pearl handle. Full hallmark to the back of fork for Sheffield assay c1899 and made by James Dixons & Sons.
  • c1907 Small silver coffee pot with cups. Fabulous coffee set consisting of a small antique sterling silver coffee pot with ebony finial and handle, and a pair of small square white porcelain cups & saucers. The cups and saucers are accentuated with gold on the handles & rims and to finish the set is a pair of small sterling silver coffee spoons with ebony coffee bean to the tip of each handle. Each piece of silver is hallmarked for Birmingham assay and made by Heath & Middleton with additional retailers stamp to base of coffee pot for Albert Barker Ltd, New Bond St, London. The coffee pot measures 92mm in diameter at base165mm at widest at handle, 155mm at tallest by finial and weighs 274.2gms. Cups measure 30mm square at base, 55mm at widest at handle, 40mm square at top and 48mm high. Spoons measure 95mm long.
  • c1853 Sterling silver fruit strainer spoon. Very fine quality & beautifully crafted sterling silver fruit strainer spoon in a vine pattern. The handle is made to resemble vine stalks and leaves with an extended vine leaf design for the spoon bowl which is finished in gilt. Full hallmark to the top vine leaf for Birmingham assay and made by Hilliard & Thomason. Spoon bowl measures 45mm by 40mm.
  • Modern cased sterling silver pickle fork. Very elegant and sturdy solid sterling silver pickle fork in a lovely case. Fully hallmarked to the handle for Sheffield assay c1989 and made by Francis Howard LTD. (Would make a great chip fork as well!) Fork measures 175mm long and weighs 41.5gms.
  • Ladies guilloche enamel and silver cheroot case. Stunning ladies Art Deco cheroot case with yellow guilloche enamel to one side. 925 hallmark for sterling silver in several areas. Gilded interior. In wonderful condition throughout and closes tight. Missing the elasticated band inside. Import mark for Glasgow c1925. Made by Scholl Ltd.
  • Antique Art Nouveau pewter pin tray. A rare and very lovely decorative pewter pin tray of a young lady seated on the back of a peacock gazing into a mirror. The tray area is plumes of the peacocks fanned out feathers. Lots of attention to detail in this piece. Is she looking at herself or the peacock in the mirror? 95% pewter (Zinn 95%)
  • Art Deco silver and enamel hand mirror. A stunning hand mirror from the Art Deco era in sterling silver and beautiful blue enamel. Hallmarked to the mirror frame for London import by AJ and dated to c1935. The enamel is in excellent condition except for a small scratch to the back of mirror however the silver backed mirror has some signs of wear. Still very useable! Mirror area measures approximately 105mm in diameter.
  • Vintage GSA Goldinger silver plate fan vase. A highly decorative silver plate vase in the shape of a fan. Marked GSA 1991 to the base. No inner lining to hold fresh flowers in water but ideal for displaying a special fan, dried flowers or some peacock feathers? Measures 96mm in diameter at base and 210mm at widest.
  • Antique sterling silver milk or cream jug. Aesthetically stunning jug by Thomas Bradbury of London c1904. Full hallmark to back of jug by handle. Base measures 63mm by 44mm, 110mm at widest from tip of spout to handle edge and 136mm at tallest at handle.
  • Vintage sterling silver cream or sauce jug. Simple but elegant jug with scallop detail to the legs and an open curl handle. Full hallmark to the base for Birmingham assay and made by Elkington & Co c1938.
  • Antique 2 handled sterling silver pot. Small 2 handled sterling silver pot with intricate relief pattern around the lower bulbous area. One cartouche has a profile of a medieval knight engraved to it while other cartouche is empty - for a damsel perhaps? Shapely handles and rim add to the elegance of this piece. Full hallmark to the base for London assay c1875. Made by Francis Higgins. Base measures 55mm in diameter, width across handles measures approximately 105mm and opening at top 60mm in diameter.
  • Sterling silver thimble in a fitted velvet case. Lovely sterling silver thimble in a fitted red velvet case with clasp. Fully hallmarked to the side of the thimble for c1927 Birmingham assay. Considerable wear to the velvet case. Thimble measures 20mm long and 16mm in diameter at opening. Thimble weight 2gms.
  • Pair of small mirror image cloisonné vases. Pretty and striking pair of cloisonné vases with mirror image of plum blossoms. The black background brings out the beautiful colour detail of the decoration. Measures 32mm in diameter at base and top and 60mm in diameter at widest area towards top of the vase.

Full hallmark to the bottom right of frame for c1996 Birmingham assay. Made by Ray Hall. Green velvet back and sides faded in places but in good order. Image area measures 55mm in diameter.
  • Small vintage style sterling silver photo frame. Pretty and petite photo frame by Carr's of Sheffield set in landscape mode instead of portrait. Empty cartouche to the top for personalisation and full hallmark to the bottom of the frame for Sheffield assay c1992. Some minimal wear to the velvet. Area for photo display measures approximately 85mm by 55mm.
  • Antique cased set of silver salts and spoons. A lovely pair of sterling silver salts and spoons each fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay and made by Lee and Wigfull (Henry Wigfull) c1907. Missing glass bowls to each. Each salt measures 53mm equilaterally, 40mm tall and weighs 36.2gms. Each spoon measures 65mm long and weigh 7.3gms. Case interior in lovely condition, exterior has signs of wear.
  • Antique silver mounted horse hoof paperweight. A very unusual paperweight that must have been a special commission by someone in memory of their beloved horse. The top of the hoof is covered in sterling silver with the name "Fairy" engraved on it while the bottom is covered by a sterling silver horseshoe. Full hallmark to both top and bottom silver covers for London assay c1895 and made by Daniel & John Wellby. Measures approximately 105mm at longest, 60mm at widest and 56mm at tallest.
  • Rare antique hydraulic jack in copper, brass and iron. A very rare & heavy hydraulic jack patented 100 years ago in 1923. In working order albeit a bit erratic. These were made as an expensive optional extra for Rolls Royce or Bentley of the period. Patent No's and manufacturers info to the side. A lovely item and definitely a talking point! Base measures 152mm long by 75mm wide at base and 145mm at longest across the lever.
  • Antique Art Deco sterling silver tea set trio. A handsome sterling silver trio consisting of tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug all in a very aesthetic Art Deco shape. Each piece is stamped to the base for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company 112 Regent Street and also fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay. The tea pot is dated for 1918, weighs 723.4gms and measures 102mm in diameter at base, 160mm in diameter at widest at top of body, 175mm wide from tip of spout to handle and 145mm tall at finial. There is also a etched picture of a thistle with motto 'Dulcius ex Asperis' (Sweeter after difficulties). The sugar bowl is dated for 1917, weighs 266gms and measures 70mm in diameter at base, 125mm in diameter at widest at top, 160mm at widest across handles, 60mm tall at main body and 65mm tall at handles. The jug is also dated for 1917, weighs 183gms and measures 64mm in diameter at base, 105mm in diameter at top, 145mm at widest from tip of spout to handle, 52mm tall at body and 65mm at tallest by handle.
  • Antique Art Nouveau brass wall plaque or tray. A highly decorative brass wall plaque with a typically Art Nouveau look depicting a scene of the Goddess Diana on a hunt. There is a signature to the back which is hard to read but believed to be of French origin.
  • 19th century Chinese bronze head. A very heavy and well made bronze head of a Chinese man (possibly deity Shou or Juroujin) in a brass finish. No markings. Attachment for hanging attached. Drop length 185mm.
  • Antique sterling silver table light. Beautifully crafted small sterling silver oil light in the form of Aladdin's lamp. Fully hallmarked to the base for Sheffield assay c1913 and made by Roberts & Belk. (Extra hallmark stamp on this piece-very special!) Measures 52mm by 37mm at base, 112mm at longest from handle to tip of spout, 55mm at widest, 68mm tall at finial and 70mm at tallest.
  • Antique Stewart Dawson kangaroo ornament. A small heavy kangaroo in standing position by Stewart Dawson. Assumed solid silver plate although no visible hallmarks whatsoever. Signed Stewart Dawson to the base of tail. c1900s Measures 85mm at longest from tip of foot to tail, 28mm at widest across hips and 98mm at tallest from ground to tip of ear.
  • Set of sterling silver Bridge pencils. Lovely boxed set of 4 sterling silver propelling pencils with a card suit on the end of each pencil. All 4 pencils are hallmarked Sterling Silver with each one measuring 85mm and weighing approximately 6.5gms

  • Pair of Art Nouveau sterling silver salts c1902 with sterling silver spoons c1930. The salts stand on 4 ball feet and designed in a very typical Nouveau style. All 4 pieces are fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay. Salts by Matthew John Jessop and spoons by J.C Ltd. Each salt measures 22mm square at ball feet, 48mm square at top and 25mm tall. Each spoon measures 52mm long.
  • An engraved silver plate on copper French jewellery box . It dates from about 1900-1940.The lid is engraved with ‘The morning of the bridal party ( Le matin de la noce)’. There is considerable wear to the plate on the lid that allows the underlying copper to shine through also minor wear to the base. The box has its a original padded satin interior with a little wear to the silk. The box weighs 298grams.
  • A vintage boxed set (6) of solid 925 silver napkin rings. They are in their original cardboard box which is still functional though the surface is a slightly worn in parts. The napkin rings are inspired by vintage Oman bangle designs . They are each individually hallmarked with 925 and the makers mark of one of the finest jewellers in Oman - Jawahir Jewellers. Each napkin ring is in excellent condition. The total silver weight of the napkins is 339 grams . The diameter approximately of the napkins is 45 mm and the thickness is 2-3 mms. The largest is 58mm in diameter and 25 mms in height.
  • A Victorian silver gilt ice bucket with frosted glass barrel. It is hallmarked for 1885 London and made by George Fox. There is a slight loss of gilt from the inside rim and a slight indentation in the silver just above the base (please see last photo). A minor repair has been made to stick some of the silver gilt to the glass and a nut based glue has been used. We therefore recommend this item not be used for nut allergy sufferers. The barrel of the ice bucket is 90 mms high, 112mms in diameter across the top and the handle is 12mms at its widest width.
  • A vintage solid silver hip flask with a hinge bayonet twist cap and engine turned decoration . It is stamped sterling silver to base and weighs 120 grams. There is some slight scratches to top of bayonet arm. There is a vacant panel for a small inscription.
  • Small mid century enamel on copper plate by Judith Wedemeier USA c1960s. Beautiful green enamel dish decorated with 2 pale blue birds sat on a branch with raised bubble accents for the birds eyes and breasts. Signed Wedemeier USA to the base. There are 3 shallow indents to the base possibly from manufacturing process. Measures 125mm in diameter.
  • Antique Victorian sterling silver handled curling irons. Fine pair of curling irons with sterling silver handles decorated with cherubs. c1906 Birmingham Assayed & made by H. V. Pitney & Co. Width at widest when closed 54mm at handle ends.
  • Victorian sterling silver spirit cup in the form of a thimble with raised wording at top of cup reading "Just A Thimbleful".
